In a recent 4-player game of 1837, DV acquired both the EPP and RGTE
coal companies. He then linked them together, bypassing the BK home station.
He also owned the ZKB and SPB companies and linked them. This meant
the SPB did not have a route on its second turn.
DV went on to win the game after JB embarked on a policy of taking
over companies other people had started. JB came last.
